hallmark christmas movies

Many people have begun to make it a ritual to watch Hallmark Christmas movies every year. There’s something nostalgic about entering a world where the biggest drama typically includes a pageant or good-looking foreigners bringing an air of intrigue to the stereotypical tiny town, in between decorating a Christmas tree and snatching the most popular gifts.

It’s possible that some of the plots may be predictable, and some of your favorite Hallmark performers might appear in several different films. But devoted moviegoers would concur that nothing compares to viewing one of these flawlessly plotted movies.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Channel continue to delight with their outstanding movie marathons. We’ve compiled a list of some of the best Hallmark Christmas films because there are always new movies to see and classics to rewatch.

A Princess for Christmas

Jules, portrayed by Katie McGrath, who recently lost her job finds herself unexpectedly in charge of looking after her niece and nephew. But when Jules finds out that her young cousins are linked to the Duke of Castlebury Hall, she chooses to spend Christmas with others seeking to reunite with their ancestors. It turns into quite the royal vacation when you add a prince (Sam Heughan) who also seems to be interested in her.

Christmas Everlasting

Christmas Everlasting delivers a poignant lesson to confront life head-on even if it means coming clean with your secrets and fears along the road. It is more tear-jerking than previous Hallmark films. Tatyana Ali really shines as Lucy, a hotshot attorney who must face her past after the death of her sister.

It’s Christmas, Eve

LeAnn Rimes makes her Hallmark debut as she portrays an interim school administrator called Eve in this musical film. When she first meets the head of the music department, who is conveniently unmarried, she prepares to terminate the school’s music programme.

Christmas at Graceland

We all seem to get into the holiday mood when we see Elvis Presley’s famous Graceland home decorated in red and green. When Kellie Pickler’s character, Laurel, comes to Memphis, she finds her ex-boyfriend, Wes Brown, waiting for her, as well as a rekindled affection for this more straightforward way of life.

A Heavenly Christmas

This film follows chronic workaholic Eve Morgan (played by Kristin Davis) as she adjusts to life following her untimely death, serving as a lesson to cherish life’s most precious moments. She receives the summons to serve as a Christmas angel in Heaven under the direction of her guardian angel, played by Shirley MacLaine.

Christmas at Dollywood

Even if the country music superstar Dolly Parton is barely on the screen for a minute at most, it’s still worth watching this film. The remainder of the film highlights Dollywood’s top features while Rachel (played by Danica McKellar) completes preparations for the theme park’s 30th Smoky Mountain Christmas event.

A Gingerbread Romance

Before Taylor Scott (Tia Mowry), an architect, leaves for Paris, her boss assigns her the task of building a life-size gingerbread home. She seeks assistance from a neighborhood pastry maker, played by Duane Henry, and along the way discovers the key to a happy existence.

I’ll Be Home for Christmas

Jackie’s (Susie Belzberg) life is almost perfect—that is, until her unstable father (James Brolin) ruins her holiday plans. Instead of letting his baggage spoil her Christmas, she seizes the chance to move on and put their tangled history behind them. Barbara Streisand (Brolin’s wife) is featured throughout the film’s soundtrack.
